This Privacy Policy explains how HypesYou ("HypesYou", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores, shares and deletes personal data when you visit hypesyou.com, join our waitlist, or use the HypesYou application, including when you connect your TikTok, Instagram or Facebook accounts.
We collect only what we need to run the service, we never sell your data, and we never use data from your connected accounts for advertising.
1. Who we are
HypesYou is operated by MYBZZ Inc., [registered address to be confirmed] (the "data controller"). You can contact us about anything in this policy at hello@hypesyou.com.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: your email address, name (if you provide it), password hash or sign-in provider identifier, language and time zone.
- Waitlist data: your email address, optional website link, the plan you are interested in, your language and the page you signed up from.
- Project content: website and app links you add, the brand brief generated from them, brand memory notes, campaign settings, images and videos you upload, and posts, images, voiceovers and captions generated for you.
- Connected account data: the data described in section 3, received from social platforms after you authorize HypesYou.
- Billing data: your plan, invoices and payment status. Card details are entered on Stripe and are never stored on our servers.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, and server logs needed to keep the service secure and working.
- Communications: messages you send to us, for example support requests.
3. Data from connected platforms
You can connect social accounts so HypesYou can publish posts you create or approve and show you how they perform. You choose which accounts to connect, and you can disconnect them at any time. For each platform we request only the permissions needed for these features:
TikTok (Login Kit and Content Posting API)
- Basic profile information (user.info.basic): your TikTok open ID, display name and avatar, to show which account is connected.
- Publishing (video.publish, video.upload): to upload photo carousels and videos you created in HypesYou to your TikTok account, either published directly or sent to your TikTok drafts, according to your campaign settings.
- Video list and statistics (video.list, user.info.stats): the list of your public videos and their view, like, comment and share counts, to show performance and build your hook ranking.
- AI-generated content disclosure: when a post contains AI-generated images or voice, we enable TikTok's AI-generated content label.
Meta (Instagram and Facebook)
- Basic profile information and the list of Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts you choose to connect.
- Content publishing permissions to publish images, carousels and videos you approved to those accounts.
- Insights for posts published through HypesYou (reach, views, likes, comments, shares, saves).
We do not use data received from any platform to train AI models, to build advertising profiles, or for any purpose other than providing the features you use. We do not sell it or transfer it to data brokers. If we add more platforms, we will update this policy before you can connect them.
4. How we use data and on what legal basis
- To provide the service - create brand briefs, generate and edit posts, schedule and publish them, show analytics (performance of a contract).
- To manage your waitlist spot and send you an invitation when access opens (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
- To process payments and keep accounting records (performance of a contract and legal obligation).
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix errors (legitimate interest).
- To answer your messages and send essential service emails such as security or billing notices (performance of a contract and legitimate interest).
We do not send marketing emails without your consent and we do not use third-party advertising or tracking.
5. AI processing and AI-generated content
To generate briefs, text, images and voiceovers, we send the relevant project content (for example your brief, notes and slide text) to AI providers listed in section 9. Under their API terms, these providers do not use this data to train their models.
HypesYou follows a zero-invented-facts rule: generated posts are based only on your brief, your notes and the sources researched for the post. You remain responsible for reviewing content before it is published. Content containing AI-generated images or voice is labelled using each platform's disclosure setting where available.
6. Storage and security
- Our servers and databases are hosted by OVHcloud in the European Union.
- Access and refresh tokens for connected platforms are encrypted at rest (AES-256) and used only by our servers to perform the actions you requested.
- All traffic is encrypted with TLS. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes.
- Access to production data is limited to the people who need it to run the service.
7. How long we keep data
- Account and project data: for as long as your account is active. After you delete your account, it is deleted within 30 days, and removed from backups within a further 30 days.
- Connected platform tokens: deleted immediately when you disconnect an account or delete your HypesYou account.
- Data fetched from platforms (profile, post lists and statistics): deleted within 30 days after you disconnect the account, or sooner if a platform's policy requires it.
- Waitlist data: until you ask us to remove it, or 12 months after we open access, whichever comes first.
- Server logs: up to 90 days.
- Invoices and billing records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
8. Revoking access and deleting your data
You can stop sharing data and delete it at any time:
- Disconnect an account in HypesYou (Connections). We stop using it and delete its tokens immediately.
- Revoke access on the platform itself: TikTok - Settings and privacy › Security › Manage app permissions; Facebook and Instagram - Settings › Apps and websites (or Meta Accounts Center › Business integrations).
- Delete your HypesYou account in account settings, or email hello@hypesyou.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my data". We confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.
- To leave the waitlist, email hello@hypesyou.com or use the link in any email we send.

10. International transfers
Some subprocessors (for example OpenAI, Anthropic and Stripe) may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. In those cases we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable, or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
12. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA), you have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use these rights, email hello@hypesyou.com. We answer within 30 days. If you are in the EU, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
13. Children
HypesYou is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
14. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the date above and notify account holders by email or in the app before the changes take effect.
